I just bought an M44 Mosin Nagant along with 100 rds of PRVI Partizan 150grn brass case.

I'd like to start reloading for the rifle after i work through all 100 rds.

My question has to do with bullet size. The 150grn ball measures right at .310". A search of midway shows few choices in .310", but several in .312". Am I asking for trouble by using .312" dia. projectiles?

Slug your bore. Use that size for best results.

My Mosins shoot the .310 123gr FMJ bullet very well. I load the same bullet for my AK and SKS.

I have had some ok results with .308 bullets in my mosins at least no worse that with surplus ammo. My Lee dies say to use .308, but as mentioned slugging the bore is a good idea, I have to do mine.
