I just got a GSG522 its only been to the range one time, and it functions great.  However I was messing with it yesterday and noticed something.  The little bolt stop inside the mag well just fops up and down.  I thought I remember it having spring tension when I got it, but I am not positive.

Just to clarify I am talking about the little tab inside the mag well that stops the bolt when the mag is empty.  It moves freely when I turn the gun upside down.  With no mag, I can hold it upside down and charge the slide and the bolt will hold open.

Is that normal or is there supposed to be a spring?
