We'd like to know too.  We are already making SureShell shell carriers for the M2 with an integrated rail.  If there's enough demand, and not much competition, it would be easy enough for us to start making just the rail.

My benelli M4 spare parts list says the rail is code 260J, rail screws 261J washers 262J
However on the second page it says you must specify the gauge, the model and Serial number to order them. hope this helps.

it would appear that the m2 rail will be the same rail as used in the m4   got off the phone with   parts representative that i was referred to by benelli   i bought two of them with screws  58.00 each plus shipping.

You could make a rail that fits both, but it wouldn't be the Benelli M4 factory rail.  It's too long to fit on the M2.

The factory M4 rail is about 5-1/2" long and has five mounting holes.  There is only about 4-1/2" between the front of the M2 Tactical's receiver and the LPA sights, so an M4 rail cannot fit without overlapping the barrel, and in any case the rear two holes are too close to the sights on the M2 Tactical for the M4 factory rail to fit.

Here's an M4 factory rail held next to the top of an M2 Tactical shotgun:

As you can see, there's no way that M4 factory rail is going on the M2 without some cutting.

Obviously, any rail made for the M2 Tactical would fit the M4, but not necessarily vice versa.

the rail that benelli sent   me part number 81130 is not the correct part.  back to the drawing board   i am told that a 93weaver rail will work.   i was hoping for a picatinny rail.
