First, I am overly impressed with the progress as I followed your project.   I carried a 249 in the turret as a backup for the .50. in Iraq.   Suddenly got a bug to make a sar.  I like your drawings.   I have been referencing them along with a sample as I basically gave up trying to secure an actual set of prints.  
I am getting more dissapointed on the supply of several crucial parts just to get started.  For fun I took the specs for the channel that were posted here.  I referenced those dimensions with a sample and pressed out my first channel with laser cut holes.    Given the price of a channel, it was  well worth some shop time.  I would like to take on a trunnion.  It would be great to get a few more dimensions on those drawings already posted more specifically the hole dimensions.  I dont think I can outwait the supply to come back on trunnions.
