i was wondering if there is such thing as a "stock gun" match.  what i'm talking about is a match run/hosted by a firearms manufacturer where all participants use an identical stock weapon, provided by the sponsor (all sighted in properly and equally, and picked by drawing numbers)
this would be the ultimate way to judge one shooter's ability against another's. personally, for me it only matters that you have fun, but this sounds like a great idea for say, bushmaster? this would be a great way for a company to sponsor their product and fun for the participants.
so, could it work??????
