Have you talked to Virginia Arms in Manassas? Ask for Bernie. They are no nonsense.

ACF in Charlottesville is $50.00 for NFA items.

Here is your answer.  Easy, and all the paperwork can be done over the net.  They respond to emails quickly and have lightning fast Form 3 & 4 submissions.  They even email you a PDF copy.  Serious no brainer here.

They also have great prices on cans.

Perhaps someone had a bad experience. I've had four cans go through him (fifth pending) plus at least one regular transfer, and I've bought other stuff from him as well - he's also helped me with some mechanical issues on my guns. I generally get pretty fast responses as well. Based on my experiences I will continue to buy from him.

I posted that link without any personal comment since I have had no personal experience with Immortal Arms. However that thread did influence my decision to use another dealer.
