well Im a big AR10 guy, but i found myself needed to purchase a used M1A and would like any possible info on this weapon

basically it was manufactured in march of 1988, has the medium weight NM stainless Steel barrel with fiberglass stock. the lady discribed it as a standard loaded model

havent had the oppertunity, to take it out yet, but was wondering if there is anything that i should look for in a 1988 gun, i understand the new guns may of had some isssues but I am curious to the guns of that era
