It looks like a lot of AR-15 alternatives are becoming a reality.

Has anyone picked-up on rumors regarding 6.8mm SPC versions?

We all know it would be very easy to offer a 6.8mm SPC version of anything that runs 5.56 today.  Bolt, Barrel, Mags, and away you go.

So will there be a SCAR-L in 6.8 SPC?  FN-2000 maybe?  Sig 55X-whatever in 6.8?  RobArms XCR?

I want one, or several.

I know that there will be a SCAR L.  How long it will take to get into civvie hands is anyone's guess.

I also think that Robarm will be forthcoming with 6.8 goodness.

I'm having a hard time deciding between the Steyr AUG-like rifles, FN SCAR-L and the SIG 556............But these would be cool in 6.8 or 6.5 Grendel

Al at ZM Weapons is working on a 6.8SPC version of the LR-300. Release date? "Soon," is the word - no idea what that means.
