I got some ammo from a guy at work that use to have a carbine some years ago most of it is head stamped LC 67  and some is LC 54 and a little is marked WWC 43 .   The WWC 43's are on stripper clips.  Is any of these corrisive?

And he also gave me what looks like grenade launching blanks still in the original wax wrapped cartons. There looks to be 6 round per package. Markings as follows on the box's

6 CARTS. CARBINE GRENADE

CAL. 30M6      AMMO. LOT

  LC 12054  FEB.  1944

Are these rounds rare or special? And are they corrisive?

Thanks for any help or infromation E3

IIRC, no U.S. carbine ammo is corrosive. As for the grenade launching blanks, I've never seen any before. You may have something there.
