Hey guys, I spent some $$ on myself this x-mas, and thought I'd show ya. I have a customized Norc 18.5" M305 (m1a clone). I bought myself an ARMS #18 mount, and a Leopold 3-9x36 TMR scope :D. She's ready for coyotes now. here's some pics.

well up here kanuckistan springfields are 2000+, so I bought this norc from a gunshop up here that customizes and accurizes norcs. They call it their own "SOCOM", even though the barrel is 18.5". I picked the scope up from them too. It's a little heavy, but damn is it fun to shoot.

I think that's about perfect. Simple and functional. Trying to find one here in the US like that at a reasonable price. Might just get the SA version.

I just started look into it of couse, but off the top of my head. SA is 1200 - 1500 retail, and the polytech's I don't know a good source for.

The forged receiver rifles like LRB etc are $2k+.

That's unreal. Up here a standard SA is 2000$+, and a M1A match rifle is 4000$. You can buy a brand new norc with a forged receiver from www.marstar.ca for 399$ cdn, so like 350$ US. The import ban you guys have on norcs really works in our favor

I was going to ask that too but when you said "norc/poly" I figured it out.  Nice coyote buster.  I really want to take mine to do the same thing.  I'm thinking some 155 amaxes would bust em up pretty good. Or maybe even some BTHP's.  I don't know.  But sounds like fun to me.

Nice rifle BTW.
