It really is not feasible to make an AK mag function in a mini-30, I tried and messed up a decent AK mag that way...the magwell seems like it will fit the thicker AK mags, but the connection doesn't line up correctly with out really messing up the feedlips, it was frustratingly close though...
The rugers magazine attachment design really blows, though they can still be handy truck rifles...if only in the 5rd or 10rd flavor. Get a cheap AK (WASR-10) or a Yugo or Norinco SKS and save yourself a headache. |
