hey i am going to buy this, but i just want to hear some pros/cons of this

I have a used very good/excellent condition Leupold Vari-X III 4.5-14x50mm AO, matte, fine duplex, 1" tube. There are a couple of ring marks on the tube from the previous owner. I will include a box, Leupold felt, papers, Butler Creek eyepiece flip-up cap and Leupold Alumina flip-up threaded objective cap. These scopes are $570-600ish new. $350

the first user had a 30-06 and maybe a few hundred rounds, and the 2nd user had a 308 if i recall correctly.

does the amount of rounds effect how long it will last or the performance of it? is the warranty transferrable? he said the lens was good, only rings marks and i have a day or 2 to look it over.

lemme know asap!

It should be a fine scope, with two onwers though I would offer only $300, sometimes, even in a leuapold, you can havea lemon. Might be buying someone's trash... But more than likely you are fine with buying it. If it's the scope you think u'd want on your rifle, get it

Shake the scope and listen for anything loose or ratteling. The Leupolds are guaranteed for life, it doesn't matter if you are not the original buyer. The fine duplex may be somewhat hard to see in low light hunting conditions.
