can u use large pistol magnum primers in large pistol 45 acps

no...standard large pistol primers....magnum means magnum from what I understand

Nope, not correct. If the recipe calls for a magnum primer in a .25 ACP, you should probably use it. This being said, magnum primers will usually only be called for with larger charges of slow powders in the magnum handgun cartridges.
