Murder, that's not correct.  The table you see in that link is for a .32cal paper patched bullet with a MV of 1968 or 1980fps.  It's also 211gr.

That's definitely NOT the Swiss version of the 5.56.  What they're talking about is the GP1890.  They really need to fix that to make it more understandable.

I'm looking around for you, chris.  I'll see if I can find it.

The only things I DO know about the Gewehr Patrone 90 (GP90) is that it's 63gr, lead core, and is optimized for the 1/10" twist.

I stand corrected.

Hopefully this will make up for my assholish remarks.

In 5.56 NATO Bullet lenths

M193 Ball
.76"

M196 Tracer
.91"

M855 ball (same as the GP90)
.906"

M856 Tracer
1.15"

So .906" is your answer.
Sorry for being an ass.

Quoted:
M855 ball (same as the GP90)
.906"

I'm not positive that's the same length.  The M855 has a steel penetrator, while the GP90 has an all lead core.  Since lead has a higher density than steel, the bullet may not be as long for the same (relatively, 1gr more) weight.

Anyway, that's a start.  I haven't been able to find any information on the dimensions of the GP90 thus far.

I've got several GP90 bullets, but I don't have any calipers to measure them with - I did an article at: http://www.cybershooters.org/swiss_ammunition_enterprise.htm about the plant where they're made, with pictures of the bullets.  I can give you a rough measurement when I find my ruler!

Chris, I measured it and the GP90 bullet is roughly 21.5mm in length.  (SS109 is 23mm in length).
