question- should a carbon barrel such as a volquartsen be floated in the stock or touching the entire forend of the stock through the chanel.

The barrel should be free-floated, with the action bedded and a pressure pad for the barrel just ahead of the action. One kit I see a lot of
on a rimfire form is from Rimfire Technologies...
