have a friend looking to sell his colt preban 7.62-39 with 2 new colt 7.62 magazines.gun is like new,barely fired.can anyone tell me what a fair price would be? thanks

Well, being a pre ban.... easily $1200

Most likely between $800.00-$1000.00
The problem is the mags, very hard to find, and the after market are mostly a POS.  I had some drums that worked well and some that didn't work worth crap.  Although the AR 762 is more accurate then the AK in 762 it just isn't worth the money to buy that POS.  Its also one of the reasons I won't ever buy a Colt again.  I advised everyone I knew not to buy one.
If I was going to buy it I'd keep the preban lower and sell the POS upper.
