I've got an AK that's SBR'd. The threads are not concentric to the bore.  Can you thread a blank and thread it to the muzzle (14x1lh) and then thread is 5/8x24? and make it concentric.

Reason I ask is because I would like to use a suppressor on it.  Is it going to be quiet? No, not really since AK's don't suppress well but if I've got the can, why the heck not?

The barrel adapter would need to be threaded to fit the barrel then the barrel with adapter on would need
to be turned and threaded concentric to the bore.
yes it would work

perfect! Just what I wanted to know!  Since I'm in the gunsmithing forum, does something like this tend to run more than a typical cut, crown, thread job?

Chances are it will cost more than just a normal barrel thread job as it would sorta be a double thread job.
