Yesterday I went 1911 shopping and I ran across a Beretta 1201FP on consignment from the Salt Lake PD. It's going for $399. It's in used but good condition.

So is this a good deal or not?

That sounds like a decent price. Many of the NIB or LNIB 1201's selling here have bene in the $600-650 range.
