You go for the clamp-on or drill & tap? I've been contemplating one of those......definatly looking foward to a range report

  This was a mismatched, beat up pre-68 import that I restored, and used the Drill&Tap St. Marie's mount on. Very solid, requires a left-offset (I use my left eye to shoot it, kinda weird), but it's proven to be very accurate and I'm glad I tapped it. With a good handload it'll shoot sub MOA with ease. |

Ordered the clamp on mount to start. Will probably get another K31, and get the drill and tap for that one. I'll post a range report hopefully this weekend.

I think I'm gonna snag one of Darrell's Scout Mounts for one of my K31s. I just checked it out, not bad for the price, and lots of people get good results with not-so-expensive pistol scopes.

The price I found was
