I am looking to put this on a 50BMG, any thoughts?

If its ay scope of reasonable quality will survive most of the time. A lot of guys will tell you that you MUST have a Leupold or Night Force but I've seen Tasco's and Bushnell's-O-Plenty on the ranges in the past few years on lots of 50s and folks were happy with them.

I personally had a Super Sniper on my AR50 for three years before replacing it with a Springfield Armory Gen 3. The SS did fine and will soon move to an AR10. I've got a friend that replaced a SS 10X with a SS 20X on his Serbu.  He simply wanted more magnification and was happy with a $300 scope.

Just buy something with a good warranty and see what happens.
