Can someone suggest a good .308 silencer? My dad and I are looking to get into NFA items, and I think we're going to start with a can for my SR-25. Any suggestions?

GemTech TPRS or SWR Omega 30.

Your best bet is to find someone in your state that stocks the things. Otherwise you double your wait and hassle.

You will also need to figure out how to mount it to your SR25 (lucky dog). I don't know what the barrel end on your rifle is but if threaded you want to make sure it matches.

In any case, find someone in PA that is in on this stuff and save yourself some trouble. Having said all that, I would recommend a machine gun right away. I mean heck, they still make suppressors so they aren't going up in price. Machineguns are going up.

I'm betting anyone that buys a machinegun today will be happy they did this time next year.'

Hmmmm, maybe I need more toys.

TPRS with the Bi-Lock is my choice... I haven't bought yet but it is on my short list...

Check out Ops, Inc.

You can't buy OpsInc, no matter how much they'd like to sell it to you. They are based in Kali, and don't allow the export of items to free states that their own peasents aren't allowed to own.

Jet Suppressors makes a great can. It will do pretty much anything the SWR will at half the weight (titanium).

I bought the SRT Shadow .308 suppressor after reading the article about it in Special Weapons For Military & Police. At least read the article below before purchasing a .308 suppressor.
