I'm leaning toward getting a .223 barrel for my T/C Contender.  I would have it threaded for my Bowers MOUT (I'm curious to see how it sounds from a single-shot with a 20+" barrel anyway).

I'm thinking it might be neat to shoot subsonic .22LR through it as well.  The stability problem with the Aguila SSS would be addressed in a barrel designed for a .223.  I imagine 40 grain bullets would do okay as well. Sure, not as good as a dedicated .22 barrel, but well enough.

Anyone know a source for a chamber adapter for this?

Any idea of what the twist is on a T/C factory barrel?
