I think the guy who posted the video made his own die, maybe I read that in the video comments. You can also buy the die from CH4D. I have one, as well as a few others on the board. Yes, it works. For best results you will have to modify your tool head because the 300 Whisper case is so short. I think you can also buy the dedicated 7.62x39 RT-1200, which is modified to handle the short case.
There are a few homebrew set ups but the quickest way is the modified toolhead with a CH4D form/trim die.
