Yeah I clean it just like all my other guns. Gotta keep it working smooth.

I trust my life to it, so I keep it clean.

I clean my pump shotgun less often than my semis, and I only clean them once or twice a year (more often if they start to act up). I use mine for 3-gun, so they get used quite a bit.

Bare minimum wipe the barrel after every shoot, but if I'm going through the work to take the barrel off I'll pop the bolt out and wipe the receiver guts down.

YMMV

This...

Getting into AKs is something I really enjoyed, but it reeked havoc on my gun cleaning habits. I never cleaned my AKs, and that started to carry over into all my firearms. I used to clean all my guns every time I shot them, even if it was just 20-30 rounds. Now I just clean everything bi-annually. Even my AR goes away wet and dirty (I shoot Wolf in it too...). Nothing has failed me yet. I make a point of buying guns that work clean or dirty.

And for those of you who are about to say, "remind me never to buy any used guns from you!"...I don't plan on ever selling a gun, so don't bother.

None of my guns, especially my shotguns, are safe queens. I use them...I don't abuse them. Everything is lubed when it needs it...there's just a bit of carbon build up in there along with the CLP...

The tricky part is getting the plastic coating out of the barrel - wad fouling.

Perfectly stated.

Rodge-F chamber brush

Take your barrel out and use this brush to clean the bore/ chamber area. Don't ram it too far down, it can get stuck. It is definately worth every penny.
