I'm trying to decide between the two...will share time between a P22 and my AR..any thoughts or comments?  Other that price is there any other real significant difference?  thanks   -Brown

Do you plan to shoot anything other than 22 long rifle.  The Spectre is multicaliber.  Both can be taken apart for cleaning.  I went with the Spectre for multicaliber capability down the road, but it is more expensive.

I've played with both, the Spectre is well worth the extra wait.

Mr_Brown came to town with a load of hay.  Mr Martin came a fartin and blew it all away.

Go with the SWR.

Jones. Out.

I have a spectre and 2 SS mites on the way.  I already have 2 outback II's but want the ability to clean them since I put over 15k a year through them.  The Spectre will be mostly for my 17 hmr and my future 5.7.  The mites will be for my GSG-5, 10/22, P22's, and Mosquito.  If I had to pick just one?  Spectre all the way.

im contemplating this myself.  ID like to get the spectre for my 5.7, but it would be used 99% of the time on a p22, and the mite is ALOT lighter than the spectre.  Ill probably end up going with the mite myself.

You can't beat being able to use a .22 can on a five-seven!  How much is the Spectre anyway, on average?

I went with the Mite. I really don't see why I would need a Spectre. It's already quiet. Do I really need it "more" quiet. Will I really ever push the limits of the can or take it into "battle". As far as cleaning, locals to me have put well over 15k in one year down there Mite's and yet to see any problems.

I used the extra $250 towards a Form 3.

I also went with the Mite for my 10/22. I already have a Warlock that will

be moving from my Buckmark to my 77/22.(I really love that setup!) Doug at SRT

is building me an integrally suppressed barrel for my Buckmark. Anyway, The Spectre

is well made and quiet, and SWR has rocksoild CS,but I just felt the Mite would

better fit my needs. Plus the $270 I saved is going towards my C&R 98k

Mauser project!
