Gentlemen,
Winchester was to have done the Educational Order for the M1 Garand of 500 M1 Rifles with this BREAKDOWN:
Very IMPORTANT
Nov. 1940 200 rifles
Dec. 1940 300 rifles.
Then Winchester was to go onto the production run.
As you can see there was a major problem with Wichester production. Look at the date on this file. There is a lot more of files on Winchester That are not good.
