Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Winchester Defender forend length ? Updated with answer from Surefire

I am considering buying a Surefire forend for my Defender shotgun.  I went to the Surefire website and read that the 636FGA model fits the Defender "w/ long fore-end".  My gun has the factory synthetic stock/forend and the 7 round magazine.  How do I know if mine has the long fore-end?

I emailed Surefire and asked the same question.  I was assured that it would fit my gun correctly.
