Looking at getting a .22 for plinking around the house and was wondering if a semi auto would cycle with Super Colibri? I have neighbors and want to keep it quiet as possible without getting an air rifle.

what kind of rifle?

colibri, super colibri, and CCI CB's will not cycle any of my rifles or handgun.  so it probably won't work for you either.

Ditch Super Colibri.

Get a Gemtech Outback II.

Problem solved.

Super runs my Rem 550-1 just fine, though a bit slow since the cases sorta roll out rather than flip out.  Super quiet w/ the long bbl though a can is definately the way to go!

Nope. It sure is quiet though. I fire it in my Taurus 94 to shoot snakes out in the swamp.

Pump action .22

Typically made by Taurus or Rossi. Model 62, IIRC.

They work with .22 Short, Long, Long Rifle....pretty much any standard .22 round. It's nice having a repeating colibri rifle. With a semi auto, you have to manually feed them one by one. Pain in the butt.

I've got a Rossi Gallery Gun and it's .22lr only and will not feed Colibri...if Super Colibri in not any longer then it won't feed either unless you have an old gun that is .22 Short/Long/LR.

Works great in mine, but mine is stamped S, L, LR.

Get BOTH.  And spray some WD-40 in the can before you shoot your first round.
