How much shorter is the Buffertube screw? 5/8th inch? Will a standard M16A2 or AR15A2 buffer tube work in an A1 buttstock? Where can i just get one?

The receiver extension " buffer tube " is the same for the A1-A2. The a2 uses a 9/16" spacer and a 1 1/8" OAL screw. An A1 screw is 9/16" OAL.
