That explains it...
I guess I was just curious because some of the kit builders have been working on Semi-Auto RPDs, 1919's, MG-34's/42's, MG-3's, etc... Seemed like it might be nice to have a forum for semi-auto belt-feds which definitely have different issues than Full-Auto belt-feds. Oh well. That's cool. |

I think the other factor is the relative newness onto the scene. It seems the beltfed semis market has really only seemed to take off recently, but I could be wrong. I'd LOVE to have a M240 SLR, but the price of a registered M16 receiver or about half the price of a M60 (at the moment at least) is a real downer...
Then again, I have a semi-auto MAC clone and it just bothers me to no end I can't switch it to "gangbanger" and spray the hillside with 9mm rounds. Guess I'll have to save up a while and convince my better half a M16 RR is the best value on the market
