I went to the funshow today, and, on the few tables that weren't selling jerky, beenie babies or jewlery cleaner, I saw a lot of preban AR's built on PWA lowers.
I've hung around this board for a good while and cannot recall ever hearing about this company. Are they any good? I came across one preban that was $995, which is hundreds cheaper than the colts or bushy's...
What gives?

My AR is built with a PWA preban lower and I absolutely love it. I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up at that price.

I agree with jtw2. They are just fine if not much better, Yeras ago the gunsmith building my IPSC pistols had a class 3 and I shot a lot of his M16's on PWA lowers. We shot a hellva lot of round just fine. I think Rock River is one of the best AR's around.

I bought 5 PWA COMMANDO lowers in 1995.----They are marked MILAN IL.--- Got the "Guts" for them from Bushy.------Super good lowers!!--- Never had a glitch with any of them.----VERY nice finish.---- Would'nt think twice about buying more.--- Just my opinion, ALLONS11
