Other than Boyds Stocks, does any other vendor offer walnut M14/M1A handguards?

You do mean the piece that goes above the barrel, rather than the stock, right?

BTW, the originals were like these, fiberglass, and came either slotted or solid.

I believe M14s were originally equipped with walnut handguards but they burnt up under full auto fire.

I believe their are some for sale on gunbroker right now, not cheap though. The seller shows a pic of the original box and them coming out of the wrap at almost 200.00 each...

+They were prone to cracking and splitting. thin walnut not very durable.
