A Remington PSS or VS-style rifle will have no trouble achieving this level of accuracy. But these have heavy barrels, and aren't really hunting rifles.
Most lightweight-barreled hunting rifles, such as the Remington 700 BDL, will be around 1.0-1.5 MOA on average, with match-quality ammo, which is plenty good enough for hunting. Your particular rifle could be better or worse. You know I have seen Savage 110 package guns outshoot 700BDL's. Even to the fact of slightly sub-MOA groups. They arent pretty but they do the job. But I think id still rahter have a 700.

If you want an '06 for only hunting go with the m700 mountain rifle, otherwise go with the BDL
