Looking to get my woman a neck knife. It has to have a positive retention scabbard, and have a semi sturdy chain. Thanks

Perfect choice for a women to carry. They are Small, concealible, good retention, and takes no skill to use. Plus they were designed by a woman.

I have also met a number of women who like carrying the LaGriffe by Emerson knives.

I personally like the Becker Necker. Awesome little blade with a great steel. You can cord wrap the handle or leave as is. This is the best price I have found.

I own and carry a Mid-Tech (formerly Simmonich Knives - RIP) Crowfoot. Awesome knife for the money. S30V, G-10, and a karambit-style finger loop at the end of the handle for positive knife retention. Can't beat it for $130.

+1 on the HAK.

CRKT Ryan Plan B is a pretty good neck knife if you are on a budget. Heck, if you have the dough, the ones mentioned above are great knives.

For the Ms I would suggest either a HAK or the Emerson La Griffe. Both are good SD knives, easily concealed and fast into action. I doubt the Ms want to go to knife fighting school so the little nasties work right into the natural swatting, slashing response.
