Just picked up a nice K31.  Which serial number do I log: the C.A.I. import serial, or the matching serial numbers found all over the rifle?

I use the CAI numbers if that's what is listed on the packing slip.  You can always notate both.  You can't get in trouble with the alphabet boys by having too much information...
