If your just looking for practise stuff Wolf is pretty low on the "snap" factor. Federal , Remington, and Blazer are not bad along with speer lawman, but the fiochii have the most "snap" from my experience.

Maybe you should have just went with a .45 acp if you didn't want any snap.

+1 180gr has less snap than 165gr and MUCH less than 155gr loads

+2, not a big difference between cheap practice loads but very noticible w/ full power self defense loads and the heavier loads are better against barriers.

The heavier the bullet the less the snap.
