Where online can one purchase 782 gear that is new or in nice condition?

If you are speaking of 782 gear as:

H-harness
War belt
Ammo pouches
Canteen pouches and canteens
First Aid Kit

Then:

Brigade Quartermasters
US Cavalry

If you stick to the olive drab stuff, you'll most likely get US issue and not offshore made junk.

There may be some other places that sell it for cheaper, but these two usually have a good selection.

Yes. That's what I mean. If I do the "Run and Gun in the Sun" this year, I'm just going to go with deuce gear.

Thanks for the links.

I'd expect the shooters at this event to be pretty safe, but i suppose it only take one idiot. The competeters are fairly well spread out over the course.

Cheaper Than Dirt has a lot of USGI items on closeout. I just got some H suspenders for $1.97 (listed as used, but look brand new to me), a slightly used LCI pistol belt for $5.97, and canteen covers for $1.97. Some used mag pouches on the EE for $1.99, new canteens for $2 ea at the local suprlus store, and you can be set for under $20 easy.

DEUCE GEAR SHOULD BE BANNED FOR CIVILIAN USE.

Why? Because it's former U.S. Military equipment? Using that same logic, we should shut down CMP because they sell M1 Garands and Springfield O3A3's to civilians.

If 782 gear is banned, will TA-50 still be available?

NO!

TA-50 should also be banned from civilian use!!

FWIW, I work with a guy (former USMC, former LE, soon to be LE again) who launched into a rant one day about how military camouflage should be banned from civilian wear/use. He was foaming at the mouth; it was weird.

He looked like this:
