Recently caught the c&r bug and need a match for my m44. I know I've seen them around various places before but who carries the Mosin Nagant m91/30 that have scopes on them?

There are some 91/30 sniper repros being sold by the usual big names in milsurps.  Come with the scope for about 350 and change.  Can't remember right now, check AIM, J&G, Century etc.

Thanks, no luck there though. J&G, I don't think I've heard of them before? $350, that seems a little high doesn't, it although its been a little while have the prices been going up?

$350 isn't high.  they have actually dropped, and that is pretty low.

rifle = $90
new bolt handle = $50
Gunsmithing mount to gun = $100
that leaves about $110 for the cost of scope/ mount and profit

yes these numbers are approximate, but unless you can do all the work yourself you won't come out ahead.

Inter Ordinance

Looks like 400 here, I need to look through my dealer catalogs, I swear I saw them for less.

Last I checked, Southern Ohio Gun still had some for $339.95.  If you have a C&R license call them at 1-800-944-4867 and ask if they have any Mosin Nagant 91/30 sniper rifles left.

I just picked up a very nice 91/30 sniper from SOG about 3 weeks ago, so they probably still have a few.  Cost me about $350 shipped with my C&R.  It looks like I may have got an original sniper barrel and bolt handle because they have matching and are definitely stamped, not electropenciled.  The bolt appears to be manufactured as a bent bolt originally because there are no weld marks from being altered, plus the aging of the metal looks like the rest of the bolt.

All in all, I was very happy with what I received.  Bore was in spectacular shape as well.
