Hello, I was looking to get a mosin nagant 91/30 for target shooting not collecting, I have heard hex reeceivers are worth more but are usually older than the regular ones. SHould I get a regular one?

where can I find one for about 80 bucks?

You can check with AIM to see what their price is at this time. Also check the EE on this board and a few others that specialize in CRFFL type firearms.
If you just want a shooter then the round recv. is fine, bore condition is what you need to focus on .

I have a hex recievered Mosin, I shoot the hell out of it.


Either round or hex it really doesn't matter. Making sure your bore isn't all dark and corroded is key.
