The problem is,
I like to shoot, but I have no money...
I buy white box for 12 a box at Wal-Mart, it busts my bank quite quickly.

It does not have to be reloadable.
165 grain if possible.

Some WalMart's have the 100 round winchester value packs in .40. It doesn't seem like as many regularly stock this as they do the 9mm value packs, though others have said found that they'll order it upon request. IIRC, it is around $13-14 per 100.

Ammoman has Federal AE in 155 and 165 grain for
$199 delivered, per 1000. Hard to beat.

Federal is also hard to beat. I prefer the 155 myself, as
Federal loads it hotter than the 165.

www.ammoman.com can't be beat either.

Try Natchez. They have CCI Blazer for a little over $7 a box of 50. http://search.cartserver.com/search/search.cgi?cartid=a-7002&category=Ammo&maxhits=20&keywords=a40swcacc

I have used tons of this stuff and never had a single problem. You might piss off your range owner because of the non-brass case, but so what.

I ordered a bunch of handgun ammo last Thursday and it was in my hands Monday.

** I just looked at the link I put up and they even have Speer Lawman 165 for under $9 a box. These are some great prices!
