I've seen lots of people rip on Olympic ammo...I fired about 80 rounds through my Garand on Saturday with no issues. Shot fine in fact, and not inaccurate from my gun. So what's the problem with Olympic?

I wasn't impressed with it out of either of my M1903's. The ammo seemed to pattern rather than group. Normally with the greek M2 ammo my 03's do about 2" at 100 yards with iron sights. The Olympic ammo opened up to about 6" to 7" at 100 yards.

The recoil was inconsistent in that several rounds would feel about right for M2 ball and then I'd have one or another that were light or really heavy. While thats not terribly scientific, it felt to me like there were some light and heavy loads which could be inconsistent powder charges. The heavy recoil rounds also had a lot of muzzle flash which also indicates more powder as some still hasn't burned up.

But, thats just my two cents.
