Not so much tactical... I'm wondering more about what you wear on your regular belt on a day to day basis?
Cell phone? Knife? PDA? What?
Right now, I have nothing on my belt. I have a knife I wear clipped to the inside of my pocket and my cell phone is in the other pocket.
When I was wearing green, though, I had a ton of shit on my belt. Surefire, PDA (in a pouch with a pen and pencil), cell phone, Leatherman. My wife would always get a kick out of it when I'd come home: I'd walk in and strip all the junk off my waist, then continue with the rest of my ritual (empty pockets, take off boots, etc.).
I carry too much crap I tell you!
On my belt is the following:
Glock 23 in a Kramer holster (strong side)
Spare G23 mag in a leather pouch (weak side)
Blackberry in a holster (weak side)
But I also carry the following every day:
Al Mar SERE 2000
In all, probably about 6 lbs of "stuff." I'd like to get the Surefire onto the belt somewhere, but then I don't have anywhere to put my Blackberry.
Sounds like you need to invest in a murse (man purse).
I see myself starting up again soon. I miss having all that crap... unless I'm going to the airport.
When I'm working (I work mainly plain clothes), I have the following with me:
A Glock 32C
1 spare mag
1-2 sets of handcuffs
folding knife (gerber)
handy-dandy notebook and pen
When I'm off duty, I carry:
A Glock 32C
