Ok. The "itch" has gotten a hold of me, and I just bought a gun in June!!

I'm debating between a Springfield XD-40 Subcompact or something in .308, maybe a FAL-type weapon. I liked the way the XD felt in the hand, and I don't have a .40 cal weapon of my own yet.

But with the import parts ban coming soon, I have been thinking about a FAL-type weapon. Have $500 saved up right now. Should be able to scrape up another $100 to $200 before that import parts ban goes into effect. Or maybe there's another weapon I don't know about yet I need to get? Please help. Thanks.

Here's a list of what I got, so that I won't get suggestions for something I already have.

#1 Para-Ordnance Tac-Four
#2 Bushmaster A2M4
#3 WASR-10
#4 Taurus PT-22
#5 Taurus PT-25
#6 Taurus PT-111
#7 Davis Industries .32auto Derringer
#8 Mossburg 500 Persuader 12 gauge
#9 Charter Arms Undercover Model .38 Special Snub Nose
#10 Ruger Security Six 357 Magnum
#11 Glock 22 (Dept Issued Service Weapon)

Surly you don't want an ugly, heavy clunker of a battle rifle!

Choose a nice, ergonomically pleasing handgun instead. Preferably an HP!

I did have a Browning Hi-Power once. They are sweet I must say.

FAL, FAL, FAL!

.40 cal handguns aren't going anywhere.
