This month the company that I work for will be paying me for my unused vacation time.  My problem is I haven't decided just what I want.  I have been thinking along these lines.

 1. An AK in 5.45mm
 or
 2. Olympic 9mm upper

If I chose option 1, I might be able to swing getting a Taurus 92 as well.  Only problem will be finding the AK.
If I chose option 2, then no Taurus.

I am leaning toward option 1 one moment, then option 2.  I need help!

IMO, 2 guns is better than 1/2 a gun.

ARben,  Usually I would agree with you on that, but one of the USPSA local clubs that I shoot with is planning to have a pistol caliber carbine stage.  That just one more reason I am having such a hard time making up my mind.

Oly 9mm uppers will be available long after the supply of 5.45 AKs has dried up. Go for the AK and get the Oly later...

I'd like to have a 9mm upper for my AR15. And I would wait and save and get a real good pistol like a HK usp 9mm.

Bought my oly 9mm this summer and it is one of my favorite guns.  Very fast rapid fire, and always turns heads at the range.

5.45 AK

Call Classic Arms, they have 5.45 barreled actions for $299 that need a US made stock set and you are off and running.

You could build a campy clone for around $600

Barreled action $300 plus shipping and transfer

KVar Polymer Stock set $85 plus shipping

AA-OK set screw muzzle break for $25 plus shipping

Kobra red dot military sight for $130 shipped and it includes the mounting bracket

Ten 5.45 bakelite mags for @$50 from AA-OK
