What model revolver did John Shrank use to shoot Teddy Roosevelt? I'm searching for it but I can't even get a clear answer as to caliber. I found an archived PDF of the original October 15, 1912 New York times article that reported the attempted assassination, and it lists it as .32 caliber, but other sources say .38, so which is it? And what model revolver did he use? I'm pretty sure the brand was Smith and Wesson, but I'm not even sure about that, let alone the specific model. Anyone know? Also do you know the load data for the round used?
