Depends on:
Load bullet weight barrel length In general, the .38 Sp velocity might vary from 600-1000 fps. "+P" and "+P+" are simply indicators that the loads exceed SAAMI spec pressures. They tell nothing direct about velocities. |

The actual "airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow" falls between 20-30mph. Forget the beer--if you're ever in east TN, bring ammo.
