While looking for some birdshot for my M1S90 I came across Remingtons nitro 27.  The dram equivalent says HDCP.  I know it has a higher velocity than the  STS, I assume it stands for handicap but I was wanting to know what it means charge wise.

One of the classification in the game of trap shooting is your "handicap" where in gunners shoot from  varying distances depending upon their past history. While the standard distance from the trap machine is 16 yards, the 'handicap" can move  shooter as far back as 27 yards. Shells marketed for longer distances are generally loaded to a little faster velocity. In the Remington shells you are looking at the standard 1 1/8 oz target load in 1185 fps, while the handicap load is 1290 fps.
