I did a search under "MSAR case" with no hits, so I'd appreciate a nod in the right direction if this has already been covered.  What do you transport your MSAR's in?  Show me your cases!  Pics, brand and linkys get bonus points!

I transport mine in the same soft carbine length padded rifle case as my AR15. Nothing special for me.

I did manage to (barely) fit my STG in a Jansport bookbag.

This. I have a couple of Russian folding-stock AK74 padded cases and a couple of cheap gunshow carbine cases. They're all I need at this time.

A fin, mask, and snorkel bag. A heavy duty bag that I can take to the range or transport anywhere else w/o drawing undue attention. It has 3 30 rnd mags and 1 20 rnd mag in the pouches. It works great for me.

Me three! I transport mine in a 2004 Dodge truck back seat.... Not very discreet, though, if that's what you're after.

That is an awesome idea. Searching ebay I found some from $17 all the way up to $50. What brand
would be durable enough for this use? Body Glove?

Not to mention the James Bond effect on the kids at the range when you pull that puppy out and click it together

Here are pics of my poor man's sneaky bag. I got the fin/mask bag and made a sleeve to go on the inside of it for padding and to break up the pattern of my MSAR STG. I only have $60.00 total in the whole set up. I made the sleeve with 1" closed cell foam and covered it with ballistic nylon. I also carry three 30 rnd mags in a bandoleer in the bottom pouch. The only draw back to the Scuba bag is the mesh on the sides near the bottom and at the top. The sleeve covers the firearm though so it cannot be seen. The whole bag including the mesh is pretty heavy duty and imho a good quality bag. The Scuba bag is only $25.95.

I don't have pictures yet but I have mine in an Outdoor brand back pack that I picked up at Wal Mart for $30.

In it, I have:

MSAR E4 (16")
SKD Eagle chest rig.
5 PMAGs (Loaded)
4 Browning HP Mags (Loaded)
200rnds XM193
Small first aid kit
2 16oz bottles of water

So far it has held up well for a $30 bag, I am a little worried about seems ripping but so far they have held.  I want to get a little better bag, one that is well made but does not look too "military."
I was thinking that Kelty make decent stuff, and so does Eddie Bauer.

I will post pictures later on this week.

Fury.

I use a UTG 32" Homeland Security case and I'm very happy with it. It hugs the gun securely when the inside straps are adjusted properly, plus holds six 30 or 42 round mags, four mags for my handgun, plus has plenty of room for my gloves, light, and other gear. Even has an ID pocket. It's not discreet, especially when it gets heavy with all my ammo and stuff stashed in it, but I don't have to disassemble the gun so it's ready in a hurry. Hey, that 10 seconds counts.

I use Uncle Mikes Tactical Rifle Case (Medium). I found that with the factory optic, I have to fold the forward grip up to be able to be able to zip it up over the optic. It has pouches for 3 mags. My other 2 mags I put in the large pouch on the other side. There is also a small pouch in the middle under the handle and a small zipper pouch inside along the front for smaller parts. I think I got it for under $30 online somewhere.

I bought a double rifle case at Academy and took out the egg crate, turned it onto the flat side, centered the rifle on the flat side, outlined the contour of the rifle and carefully cut out the shape with a razor knife. The case now holds the rifle without bouncing around inside the case and also 5 30rd mags and extra 50rds in boxes.

I've got the satcom bag as well. Considering the quality, it is a heck of a good deal. If that case had been made just for guns and marketed as such, it would be "on sale" for $129.95!

I've got the 20" and even it fits in. That long barrel won't go in the pouch on the bottom so I slide the barrel into a Remington rifle sock. Put the rifle in first (just fits) then put the barrel on top of that (in the sock). Then add loaded mags here and there. Amazingly small when you consider that's a 20" rifle you are transporting in there!!

I use a Galati Int'l 32" discreet case with an extra 3-mag pouch in the side pocket. It works great!
