Ok so like 6 months ago I picked up a Hatsan shotgun for about $150 at the local gunshow and for the price I have really enjoyed it. Its a great gun I can bang it around without any worries. So far I have put about 1000 rounds through it with no problems yet. I guess the question I have is is it a copy or a original design and what types of stocks might enterchange with it. I am really wanting a folding stock just because I am wanting something compact that I can toss around in the truck without taking up any space. The stock looks like a Nova but the auction kinda like a Remington but thats just what I think. Anyways Im more of a rifle man and dont know much about shotguns so figured I would throw it out ther for you guys. Heres a link Hatsan Escort!

is that a chinese made unit?

i quit knocking chinese made stuff after seeing a buddy nail 3 deer and 4 pigs in one day with his chinese sks, all head shots under 100 yards.

seems they're getting into the world of shotgunning too. neat, if you ask me. wonder how well it cycles? let us know.

Thats correct I have mostly put cheap Federal bird shot through it, then about 25 rounds of wolf 00 buck, 25 wolf slugs, 15-20 rounds winchester 00 buck and then some lawman #4 buck I havent had a single problem yet no jams misfires nothing. Also the finish is very nice and durable I have tossed it around and still looks great. I am still wanting a folding stock I emailed the people at hatsan but they refered me to legacy which said they dont have them at this time.
