The two that are really eating at me are and M1 Garand in .30-06 of course and a hunting rifle in .35 Whelan.  (I'm a sucker for the old time chamberings.)

Not sure you have enough listed there, Mr. Swindle.

That said, I'm looking to add 10mm, .30-06, 7.62x54R to my collection.  And multiplying the others that I have because it's economical to share ammo.

That's how I justify it at least...I can stop whenever I want.

I've come to the realization that I don't want more guns, just cooler ones.

As soon as I can I am setting up a corp in Oregon and buying an HK sear or a RDIAS.

I'm on a self imposed hiatus from gun buying. When I get everything I already own properly accessorized then my future gotta have gun buys could probably read like a janes small arms book. The majority of them probably won't happen, but a man has gotta have his dreams. I really don't know if I will have the strength not to buy a P90 before I'm done with accessories, if they make it to the civilian market finally.

Everytime I save up for a good optic, the voices in my head say uzi, garand, etc. It truly is a sickness.

Probably a 6.5/6.8 AR or two, or three ...

Possibly a 338 RUM and/or a 458 Win Mag.  More Glocks.  I think that is about it.

you can have a custom built 1919 for right around $1000.............i'd say that was plenty attainable

Great rifle - get one now!  You want GP11 ammo, and plenty of it.

It's 7.5 x 55, BTW.

I have in my mind a list of about 15 rifles/handguns I will someday own.  One of these days, when the paychecks > bills, I will start on that list.

Immediate future:

6.5 Grendel or 6.8 SPC (a few factors on BOTH of the rifles are holding up my decision).

I went broke buying a fricking WASR-10. You seriously think I've got a grand to plop on an ammo hog? I MIGHT be able to build an AR-15 by the time Hillary goes on the warpath. *shudder*

In order:
Thompson
M60
HK Sear
M2
A nice K98
Some sort of .50 rifle
Luger
686
629
M1S90 Entry
GAP Rock
SE Crazy Horse

Maybe another M16, Sten, MP40, MG42, M2 Carbine. If I win the lottery a Stoner. The pistols will probably be mixed in at random times. Might even get a Luger at the next airsoft show.

ETA: I forgot the '03 Springfield and maybe a little M11 .380, they're just too cute. And cheap for F/A

Right now, my main "gotta have" list consists of:

1) 9mm Jericho
2) HK USP (Caliber undecided)
3) CMP M1 Garand
4) CMP 1903 Springfield
5) Pedersoli .58cal Springfield 1861 replica
6) A flintlock of some sort, probably a .69 cal Springfield 1795, a Charleville, or a 1777 Revolutionaire
7) Another AR-15 lower to start an M4-type build.

Not having money is fun!

I'd like another FAL.  I swapped my first one for a Polytech M14, and I gotta have something else to help eat up all this Portugese surplus. (I might be equally happy with a Bushy .308.)

If 6.8 becomes more prevalent, I'd like to have an AR chambered in that someday.

I wouldn't mind picking up a blued S&W 629 someday if the price is right.

I would also like a Les Baer if I can find one locally, and someday I'll get Yost-Bonitz or John Harrison to pimp out a couple Colt Gov'ts.

I'm not in active acquisition mode for anything.  Right now I'm just in "pick it up if it's a good deal" mode.

1919A4
TT33 Tokarev, Russian if I can find one
Marlin Lever Action in 357 Mag
Romak 3

Really don't want much more else.
